  • Are there any rules I should know about?
    ● LATE ARRIVALS: SJS&P will allow a 15-minute time grace period for the Customer and the Event Attendees to arrive at the Event. After this grace period, SJS&P reserves the right to either provide or refuse the service, depending on the arrival time, at the discretion of the staff. Please see the cancellation policy. ● AGE REQUIREMENTS: For the “Painting Experience”: Ages 7 and up are allowed during the day time Event sessions (11:30 am, 2:00 pm and 5:30 pm). Only 18 and over is allowed for the 8:00 pm evening Event session. “Candle Making Experience”: Ages 10 and up are allowed during the day time Event sessions (12:00 pm, 2:30 pm and 6:00 pm). Only 18 and over is allowed for the 8:00 pm evening Event sessions. Minor must be accompanied by their legal guardians. ● EXTRA TIME: The Painting Experience is scheduled for 2 hours. The Scented-Candle-making for 1 hour to 1.5 hours. This allowed time includes the introduction and instructions. Additional time (any time after the 2hrs/1.5 hrs) will be charged at $25.00 per 30-minute increment to the Customer before the extra time can commence, paid with a debit or credit card to SJSP. Availability of Additional Increments shall be subject to prior approval by the SJSP Instructor. ● I understand that if I do not follow SJS&P rules, or if my actions or behavior is uncivil, confrontational, belligerent, or otherwise hostile, SJS&P can, at its own discretion, ask me to leave or have me removed from the Event without entitlement of a refund or discount.
  • Are there any policies I should know about?
    We require a 48 hrs notice to provide you a full refund. There is a $10.00 booking fee for all Customer canceled reservations. Event cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations made with less than 2 hours’ notice, shall not be subject to any refund amount or credit. SJS&P will not refund moneys in case of missed reservations, or cancellations made after class time. Any and all claims regarding cancellations or refunds must be addressed to: paintandsippr@gmail.com. SJS&P in-site staff does not handle refunds. Please allow 24 hours for a response and 7-10 business days for your allotted refund amount. In the event of a power outage, Act of God, or other unforeseen situation not caused by the Customer, and that prevents SJS&P from carrying out the Event, SJS&P will make all reasonable efforts to re-schedule with no additional charge to the Customer or will provide a full refund.
  • How do I sign up for a workshop?
    It’s simple Click on our Book Now button, choose the day and time you want, and pay online. It’s that easy.
  • What do I need to Enter a workshop?
    Bring your ID! To check-in, you’ll need a valid, physical government-issued ID), along with proof of purchase, the holder’s credit card used to make the reservation. Must sign and date a waiver.
  • What should I wear?
    We will provide aprons BUT we recommend that you wear clothing that you don’t mind getting paint on in case any accidents occur. Things can happen.
  • What is a Paint and Sip?
    We paint iconic scenes of Puerto Rico and other things our local artist design, while we sip on drinks! Your ticket includes one drink, a dynamic instructor, and art materials. All you have to do is show up ready to have fun and create a lasting memory. No artistic experience is necessary for everyone to take home a work of art!
  • Can I come to a workshop without reserving a seat in advance?
    Sure. But we recommend signing up in advance to ensure you have a saved seat. If our class is sold out, we won’t have a seat for you and we’ll feel bad!
  • Can kids come?
    Paint Workshop ages: We allow ages 7+ and up in our 11:30am, 2pm, and 5:30pm. 18+ ONLY for our 8pm workshops. Scented candle-making: Ages 10+ in our 12pm, 2:30pm, 6pm. 18+ ONLY for our 8:30pm . Please bring a tablet or other form of entertainment for children. Kids paint fast because they're not afraid to use their imagination! We
  • What forms of payment do you accept for your workshops?
    All major credit or debit cards. NO CASH.
  • Do you serve food?
    No. But our friendly neighboring restaurant The Cave, should be available before and in many cases after the event. Please note we are not associated with The Cave.
  • Do you offer other types of workshops?
    Yes. We also have a scented candle-making workshop. Your admission includes all the needed materials, over 30 fragrances to choose from, and one free Drink.
  • Do you serve drinks?
    Yes. We have 5-6 rum-inspired cocktails, a local beer called Medalla, and sodas and juices. We also offer tap or bottled water. After reserving please look out for our special off you should get in your email for a $15 unlimited drink package only available on our website.
  • Can a workshop be canceled if you don't have enough guests registered?
    A minimum of 5 guest total, must be registered for the workshop to take place. If there a less than 5 registered guests reserved we have the right to cancel the Event and issue a full refund. (This is under rare circumstances)
  • What is the goal and objective of a sip and paint workshop?
    Our goal is to offer a Creative Experience for beginners and experts. We're a safe space to let loose, get out of the sun, and have some fun. We aren't expecting you to be perfect or paint just like us. You won't get a letter grade at the end. Please have fun!
  • What should I know about alcohol consumption?
    ALCOHOL CONSUMPTIONS: ● I understand that the service of alcohol is limited to the duration of the Event, and SJS&P does not sell alcohol for off-premise consumption, either prior to or after the Event. I understand that I will be served only ONE drink at a time. This means I must finish my drink before another drink can be served. I also understand that the drink is not to share. ● I declare that I am of legal age to consume alcohol per Puerto Rico Laws, and that I have complied with showing SJS&P a valid proof of such legal age. ● Alcoholic consumption is not included. The customer will not receive a credit or discount for not consuming alcohol. ● I agree to limit my consumption of alcohol to a safe and reasonable level (including, if I so choose, none at all), and I shall make provisions for transportation to and from SJS&P location. SJS&P is not responsible for coordination transportation, but may do so on behalf of the Customer at their own discretion. The Customer shall be responsible for any and all transportation cost. ● I further acknowledge that SJS&P may, at its own discretion, stop serving alcohol to me if they are under the impression I am inebriated and may pose a threat to myself or others.
